About
I studied at the National Art School and trained in floristry, both of which nurtured my love for composition, texture, and natural form. My creative journey has also been shaped by extensive travel, offering glimpses into diverse landscapes and cultures that continue to inform my work.
Today, I create abstract landscape paintings inspired by the wild beauty of Australia’s coastlines and bushlands. My connection to nature began in childhood—swimming along the East Coast, walking through National Parks, and quietly observing the rhythms of the land. These early experiences planted a deep sense of belonging and reverence for the natural world.
That connection deepened profoundly after I underwent brain surgery for Chiari malformation. In the stillness that followed, drawing and painting became more than creative expression—they became a lifeline. Each brushstroke was a breath, a way to ground myself, and a step toward healing.
My work is about more than what we see—it’s about what we feel. The sensation of light on water, the hush of wind through trees, the calm that settles in when we step away from noise and return to the natural world. Through movement, colour, and energy, I aim to create pieces that offer space to rest, reflect, and simply be.
